Spring 2019, Independence Golf Club and Richmond Region Tourism hosted the 2nd annual United States Disabled Golf Association’s US Open. Open to accomplished golfers with physical impairments, the tournament featured 75+ players representing 8 global countries. Supported locally by Dominion Energy, the USDGA embodies the spirit and will of true champions. The 288 Group offered local event management support, public relations, grassroots marketing efforts, and revenue generation.
